Dress code for students:
In the summer season, the students are asked to put on white shirts, Grey pants, and black boots. They can wear navy blue tie as well. In winter season, only navy blue jersey, sweater or coat are allowed. T-shirts, joggers & jeans are not allowed to the students.
Identity card:
It is mandatory for all students to obtain college identity card from the administration office and display it during college hours. If the card is lost, new one can be obtained from the administration office by paying RS.50/-.The students who did not display the college identity card may be fined by the concerned proctor member, forthwith. Those who misbehaved the proctors may be fined up to Rs.1000/. In case, the matter is of complex nature, the student may be expelled from the college rolls or he will have to appear before the principal along with parents and the then the matter shall be dealt accordingly. However, the authority to wave off the fine lies with the concerned proctor, Head proctor & the Principal.
Proctor Board & Seniors’ Council
In order to make the college ambience
conducive for learning, and to make it more disciplinarian, a proctor board
works under the supervision of the Principal; there will be a Head of Board and
the faculty will be its ex. officio members. Acts of misconduct andrules’
violation shall be reported to the principal or head proctor who may impose
fine or expel the students from the college bearing in view the nature of the
offence or malfeasance. Fine and punishment shall stand final and no appeal
shall lie.
Proctors must ensure that students dress up
themselves properly & display college identity card. They will also ensure
that the students toe the line of college rules; and do not misuse the mobile
camera.
Don’ts at the campus:
Any
form of student union activities in the premises of the college will be
strictly clamped down and dealt in accordance with the prevalent law. No
student union placards or stickers can be pasted anywhere inside the building.
Any student found involved in proscribed activities will be fined heavily or
the student may be expelled from the college rolls or both; in addition to that
he will have to appear before the principal along with parents and the then the
matter shall be dealt accordingly.
The Prohibition of Smoking and Protection of
Non-Smokers Health Ordinance, 2002 has banned smoking at public places which
includes all educational institutions. Any student found smoking in college
premises shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees
and in case of second or subsequent offence, shall be punishable with a fine
which shall not be less than one thousand rupees, and may extend to one hundred
thousand rupees.
Any student reported or observed having a
weapon of any kind will be liable to legal action. He may be handed over to
Police for necessary action.
Any student found using mobile phone in
class room shall be dealt according to rules.
Anti-Harassment Council:
In order to maintain peace and safety, Anti
-Harassment council work in the college. Any student found threatening or
intimidating any student or committed an act of harassment will be dealt in
accordance with law.
